In need of a quick and easy activity that doesn’t require a lot of set up, planning, or even thought for that matter? This activity can be fun for any age group. Heck, I set up my own sheet and do this activity with him sometimes. You can have it set up for free play, like I do for him since he’s so young, but you can also make letters, number, and even scenes with this one.
*Please use extreme caution for this if the child is still at the age of putting everything in their mouth.* I always sit with him and give him my full attention during this activity.
- Sticky Back Foam Sheet
- Double Sided Tape
- Small Objects
First, you apply double sided tape to all four corners then stick it to the table. After that pull off the back sheet to reveal the sticky part. Then, have fun!
I used some of his kitchen cookware to sort the tiny pieces, a bowl, bunt cake mold, and muffin tin. Anything you have laying around will work for this.
He has been doing this craft for several months now with just the puff balls and google eyes so I wanted to add in some different materials. This time he had two types of uncooked macaroni noodles, button eyelets, and pennies as well.
